About the Author
Lawrence D. Davis was born in Wisconsin on 9-22-30. Joined U.S. Navy at 17 and served 3 years. Married and migrated to Oregon where 2 sons were born. Divorced and went north to Alaska in the 1960s and worked in the forests as a tramp logger. In later years author worked mainly in heavy equipment construction including 4 years as a foreman on the Alaskan pipeline at Prudhoe Bay. Now retired and lives on the Oregon coast.
