About the Book

How was the death of a young woman connected with the preparations on that luxurious boat moored in Alicante Harbour, and indeed, how was her boy friend involved in all of this? Davina Rutland was not the only person concerned about this matter however, for what was Manuel Sanchez's new role? And why had he now formed what could only be described as in an unholy alliance with Ignacio Santissma, brother to the dead Carlos?

Now wondering how much she can trust the man whom she has fallen in love with, Davina's world is to become even more bizarre with the arrival of a certain ship from South American and the mayhem that follows!

Revenge can be bitter sweet!

About the Author

Although I have been interested in writing all of my life from being a child, it was only after I retired as an Infant School teacher, and after my own children had long fled the nest, that I found the time to pursue my writing interest. Since then I appear to have made up for lost time, completing 21 novels since 2002 and currently well on with number 22. Romantic fiction, which also contain a certain amount of intrigue are my forte. They are based on mainly topical issues and are approximately the size of book that my friends have said they like to handle and to read. I have also currently produced my first short story which was requested for the local Society for the Blind's talking newspaper.

Perhaps one of the places where I am inspired to write is in the Lake District, not too far away from home, but away from the telephone and all other distractions. Once at home however, both my husband and myself have musical interests, playing tenor horn, tuba and alto saxophones.

I rely on my husband Jim to help me with the proof reading and he is usually inspired by his reading to write a ballad or melody to accompany the novel. As Laurence our grandson also helps me with any computer problems, you could say I suppose that this is quite a family project!
