About the Author

I was born on 16th March 1966 and am happily married. I have a little girl, who is five, who is the apple of my eye.

My fathers career meant that a large proportion of my childhood was spent abroad. I lived in Zaire, Nigeria and Poland. I was then sent to boarding school at the age of twelve until I was eighteen. But I got to spend my holidays in Argentina and Malaysia.

I then did an HND in Business and Finance at Farnborough Tech, which I passed, and I went on with a few boring office jobs. I of course tried to get my stories published, but with little success. I struggled to suppress my dream of ever becoming a writer and plodded on in unfulfilling jobs in an effort to keep on top of the bills.

But a dream can only be suppressed for so long. I was determined to have another go, and I have spent all of my spare time over the last few years re-writing a couple of medium length stories, which I initially wrote about twenty years ago. I'll always remember my fortieth birthday, when I opened a small box from my husband, which said, live your dreams. Beneath the slip of paper was a cheque. This allowed me to publish my first book Time & Love Against All Odds with Trafford Publishing.
