About the Author

William Sutherland was born in New York City, NY. He graduated Mamaroneck High School, Mamaroneck, NY and received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY.

Mr. Sutherland has been an avid Aaliyah fan since 1997, is a lifetime Distinguished Member of the International Society of Poets and a member of the International Poetry Hall of Fame. His works have been published in poetry anthologies around the world and he has been featured in "Who's Who in New Poets" (1996) by Carlton Press and "The International Who's Who In Poetry" (2004) by The National Library of Poetry.

In addition, Mr. Sutherland has had two books published - "Poetry, Prayers & Haiku" (1999) by Watermark Press and "Russian Spring" (2003) by Trafford Publishing.
