About the Book

Tarina is a young woman who lives with her boyfriend Philip and works with the elderly in the community. On a Sunday morning walking between her elderly clients, she is involved in an accident that leaves her in a coma. Seraphina is a 13-year-old girl who lives in Thebes at the time of the Pharaohs. She has fallen in love with a young artisan but her parents have plans to marry her to an old man who is cousin to the Pharaoh. Their lives are joined as Tarina sees through Seraphina's eyes; to feel the joys, hardships, fear and pain Seraphina is subjected to. In her coma Tarina lives the life of Seraphina... or is she just dreaming?

About the Author

I am in my mid-50s, and have been married to Mike for nearly 20 years. I worked for social services with the elderly in residential care, I have had to retire from work due to ill health and now spend my time looking after our five cats, writing, both fiction and poems and making my own greeting cards. I have a very supportive family and a few very close friends. My fashion sense got stuck somewhere in the 70s and I love wearing long full skirts and dresses. I have a thing about crosses and try to buy unusual ones wherever I go. I love holidaying in Malta and Egypt, and I have made friends in both countries.
