About the Book

Mystery and romance collide across the centuries in MASTER OF THE SCROLLS, the debut novel by BENJAMIN FORD

Renowned historical novelist, Gloria Schofield, dreams of Isabella Neville, a woman murdered in 1536. Cast adrift in time and cursed to wander for eternity by the evil warlock, Sawyl Gwilym, Isabella's spirit has sought a means to warn of events that are yet to happen.

From beyond the grave, a prophecy proclaims that a woman from the future will dream of Isabella, causing the return of the evil warlock, hell bent on vengeance for his own demise, and determined to continue his quest for the secrets of alchemy.

Believing she is being possessed, Gloria returns to her ancestral family home in search of answers. What she finds is a manuscript, 'The Master of the Scrolls,' written by Isabella before her death, in which she reveals the fate of the woman from the future who dreams of her.

When Sawyl Gwilym's reincarnation appears, the prophecy appears to be coming true. Time is running out for Gloria, who believes her destiny lies in the past, in the loving arms of Isabella's husband, and she discovers that if she cannot alter fate then she will die a horrible death and lose all that is dear to her.

Can Gloria defeat the Master of the Scrolls and prove the prophecy false without changing history, or does fate perhaps have other plans for her?
