About the Author

Dr. Colvin has pastored more than 50 years in Texas and taught Elemental Theology, Systematic Theology, Biblical Hermeneutics, Ecclesiology and other Bible courses at the Bible Baptist Seminary and Arlington Baptist College in Arlington from 1967 to 1980 while pastoring the Sherwood Park Baptist Church of Irving.

He served twelve years on the Mission Board of the world Baptist Fellowship and four years as Chairman. During this time he also conducted many mission conferences across the nation.

For the last eight years Dr. Colvin has served on the staff of the Lakeside Church of God as Minister of Visitation and teaches an adult Bible Class. He has also written weekly news articles for the Azle News and Springtown Epigraph for the past 14 years.

It has been the motivating passion of Dr. Colvin since his youth to search, find, expound, and share truth as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
