About the Book

This book is a work of fiction, although I have taken the liberty of borrowing physical attributes of various people I have known for the main characters, and changed their names. The names of the companies and towns are fictional and except for the small town where I grew up, any similarities are unintended. The geographical location is similar to where the author had lived and worked and the names of some of these have been changed.

Some of the incidences in this book actually occurred but it will be up to the reader to try and determine which ones are which. They might be surprised at the truth.

About the Author

Stu Phillips has worked as a diamond driller underground, an explosives truck driver, newspaper photographer, freelance photographer/writer, and Canadian Nordic Ski Patroller.

He presently works as a paramedic in Manitoba.
