About the Book

Marta Ribeiro who was born in Brazil, and has had a difficult life with a paralyzed face. She went to be a nun, and worked there hard for 20 years and eight months. She then immigrated to the USA in 1987, and the book details her life in three states: Illinois, Florida and Massachusetts.

Left the Congregation on 12/19/1981.
Came to USA on 09/23/1987.
