About the Book

Corin Johnson, a freelance writer in London, receives a call that his Aunt Penny has just died. As a boy, he'd spent much of his childhood with her while his mother traveled with her newest love interests. Now, he needs to return to the small village where he'd spent so many happy summers to take care of her affairs. When he returns to her cottage in Cornwall, he learns that she has left him a special letter written shortly before her death. It encourages him to deliver a few selectively chosen items to some of her dear friends in his own time and in his own way. In that process, he learns a great deal about his aunt, but even more importantly, he discovers some unsettling things about his own past.

About the Author

Carolyn Mason has been an educator for forty years. She currently lives in Yakima, Washington with her husband and an assortment of stray animals who saw an easy mark and moved into her home. Veiled Legacy is her first novel.
