This is a story about Ed Coles. The time was in the 1970's. It is a story about a young man, married, with two children; who was hospitalized then sent to the States from a duty assignment in Europe. He would travel by Red Cross Plane. Much of the story is about how Ed dealt with his illness. The story also explains how Ed overcome the diagnoses of schizophrenia. That he was married, became single and was married again, has bought and owned at least one home. Using the GI Bill, Ed would get and education at a school of higher learning. It has taken time, however, Ed has earned the right to take a position among the folks of society and he has.
