Tales of the Give and Get Shop

About the Book

"Tales of the Give and Get Shop" is a collection of experiences of volunteers who have some connection with a fictional thrift shop. It is a business enterprise whereby some give no longer needed items, and other get them for very little money. Each of the contributors, recipients and volunteers has history, memories and vision. The tales are about good deeds and misdeeds, about second chances and new beginnings.

About the Author

Ruth Britton has a Master of Arts degree from Goddard College and has been a social worker. She has traveled extensively and has written travel articles for newspapers throughout the United States, as well as The London Times. In addition, she reviewed movies for a local newspaper. She lives in Long beach California with her husband Alex
