About the Book

This book delivers an honest, no-holds barred account of a combat infantrymans' own story of the horrors of Vietnam. Vivid descriptions are given concerning the firefights, the ambush killing zones, the brotherhood of men in combat and the effect that the trauma of war has upon many of the main characters. About the Author

Gary Geister served with Bravo Co. 5th of the 12th and Alpha Co. 2nd of the 3rd, 199th Light Infantry Bde. and the (CRIP), Combat Reconnaissance Intelligence Platoon in Vietnam 1968-69. He was born and raised in East Detroit, Michigan, and educated at Central Michigan University.
