About the Book

For my first book, I put together this collection of my favorite, most humorous cartoon sketches. The people of our world need many things... one of them is more laughter. Perhaps, I can contribute something in this department. Thus, I created this book...thoughtful, simple, and entertaining.

Feel free to "thumb-through" this book and enjoy each cartoon. I have been drawing these for many years now. One day after making my Dad laugh...it dawned on me to put together a good assortment of my most favorite cartoon sketches.

This is not going to change the world, but if it can make the reader chuckle, snicker, or laugh out loud...then, I have done my job. This text is put together strictly for entertainment purposes only. I do enjoy making these and I hope the reader will be leased with my work. I think, I have found my niche.

About the Author

A graduate of the University of of Kentucky in 1981, I relocated to Los Angeles to work in the film industry. After working several years in film and television and studying comedy at night -- I was going nowhere.

In 1992 I again relocated to the Palm Springs area and started drawing cartoons for my own enjoyment. As it turns out...this is like self-therapy for myself and humorous comic material for the reader. As I watch the news or the Discovery Channel, I sketch out a thought as it occurs to me. If I don't act on it, at that moment...it slips by and is gone forever. Being impulsive brings about a better cartoon product.

I have always appreciated a good comedy film, now I think I have found my niche. This is my first book...if the demand for this product is high enough, I will have a second book in development. With our news, and television's Discovery Channel, P.B.S., and Arts and Entertainment Channel, I do have an abundant source of information at this point, I know how to do it...it gets better from here.
