About the Book
The Rebirth of God and Lisa is a conversation that develops from a surprise visit by God to a person who doesn't know God at all. This person, Lisa, is a woman busy establishing her career, but regardless of this God finds a way to arrive in the midst of her life, in a startling way.
In many areas God challenges Lisa and gives her a new comprehension of life, while Lisa, on her part, is surprised to find herself becoming fascinated by God's ability to answer her multitude of questions. The concepts of conscience, value, holiness and eternal life are introduced in a refreshingly unorthodox way, as well as various philosophical ideas addressing human existence. As Lisa comments in the book, God uses a natural way of explaining things that brings a sense of reality to spiritual concepts that are usually vague or mysterious.
As readers we can find ourselves responding as if we are also participating in this dialog with God. When Lisa poses a question, we may wonder how God can possibly respond. Yet He does, based on what He thinks will fit to her, as well as to humankind, and His responses surely bring issues that can become part of a discussion at the water cooler, the dinner table, or any other place.
Walking with Lisa and God on this journey through its multitude of steps, we perceive that God is expressing His feelings in progressively greater depth. While God maintains a gentleness, He stays resolute to His thought, and we come to realize how God perceives our lives and our responsibility. Through this process we discover, like Lisa, a view that can revolutionize our lives with a new light.
About the Author
Through his perceptions, Mr. Trifault came to conclusions about how to maintain the integrity of one's soul and build a connection with God. From 1990 he began to speak extensively to audiences about personal growth and a relationship with God. Much of his writing has been in the form of guidance on how to be grateful and connect our ideals with everyday reality and challenges.
