About the Book
The great religions declare that our lives on this earth are temporary. Our human existence however consists of tears and tragedy, sometimes temporary happiness and joy. Judaism and Christianity promise messianism and God's kingdom. The Torah, the Bible, The Koran for Islam are prepared so that man can choose between Life and Death, between Good and Evil. The Kingdom of God is a concept that is often misinterpreted. This book confronts the reader with Him who said, "Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21-23). "Also if you do not believe that I am the One I claim to be you will indeed die in your sins." (John 8: 24). The choice is ours. I sincerely request that you read my book with an open mind. I know that the challenge presented to the individual who reads the book will not be easy. It requires living with the continuous awareness of Him Who died for each one of us personally on the Cross.
About the Author
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Master of International Management. I have always been interested in Philisophy and Theology. In the mid 60's I came in contact with H.Th Lilipally, a man of God, who wrote several books in Dutch and German about Jesus Christ. In a personal meeting, he had impressed me so much, that we began an enduring relationship. Without duplication, in a straightforward approach, he asked me a very simple question. "Did I know not the Jesus from Sunday school, nor the Jesus from the Church, but whether I hade ever been there at Calvary at the foot of the Cross?" His questions struck me so deeply that it has forever remained in my mind. And he is right, because without the Cross, I am dealing with a false Christ. The real Christ is to be found only in the Cross at Calvary where we ar the same time meet God!
