About the Book

In "A CLEAR VIEW OF KANSAS", a woman turns away from the death of her husband and faces a new life for herself and her ranch. A young widow leaves family and friends in "WINDOW ON FRONT STREET" and settles in a raw western town where she finds romance and adventure. A girl raising her young half-brother confronts town critics with the support of the man she loves in "HALF-SISTER". In "L IS FOR LONESOME", a young woman living in a broken down hotel in a deserted town finds love and companionship when an artist arrives. A college student, hired to baby-sit a Colonial mansion, befriends a ghost in the apple orchard in "SOMEONE'S LOOKING OVER MY SHOULDER" and solves a centuries-old mystery.
