The book, Hot Rods, by Thomas R. Randall tells of sports cars that have been cherished and adored for more than fifty years. The street rods and drag cars people have owned bring out the child in them. The cars are a piece of American and world history that tell a lot about the people who own and drive them. About the Author

Thomas R. Randall, the author of Car Crazy served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967 as a helicopter door gunner on a "Dust Off" helicopter with 3/498th AVN.

Moreover, he served as a federal agent in the U. S. department of Justice out of the Newark, New Jersey district.
