About the Book

When retired Air Force pilot, "Jock" Keller is forced to fly an unfamiliar and, disabled, aircraft after a hijack attempt, little does he know that the attention brought upon him will send him on a sensitive and important mission to the Middle East to contact an old acquaintance and confirm U.S. support for the Turkish government. General Nevsat Dalari is slated to become the new Prime Minister and is unpopular with the extremist Islamic bloc in Turkey due to his opposition to Al-Qaida linked terrorists who are plotting a nuclear attack on that country. Jock, who has fallen for beautiful Air Force nurse, Cathy Parker, takes her on what looks like a vacation trip to Greece and Turkey to meet up with General Dalari and pledge the support of new American president O'Connor. While meeting with his old friend, the terrorists, bankrolled by an American diplomat, launch their attack on an oil pipeline and a major city. Jock's happiness is shattered by a suicide bomber, but his life is saved by his Marine guardian as he uncovers the identity of the traitorous American, while the Turks and their Israeli allies manage to thwart the terrorists.
