About the Book

The Wondering Poet: Thoughts of a Lost Child, is a compilation of one hundred and five poems written by Stacy Hitoshi Okimura. Each poem represents a certain stage, thought or feeling in his young life. From trying to understand his purpose here on earth, to falling in love, this book is a journey through the mind of a young boy struggling to understand life as a child, while slowly becoming a man.

About the Author

Stacy Hitoshi Okimura was born on December 27^th, 1978. He was twenty-three years old when The Wondering Poet was completed. From the author: "There are many good times, and many hardships in life. Upon writing each poem, there was never any intention of publishing them. They were written to help me think, and in publishing them, if one word, one phrase, one poem, can inspire you, and help you think the way writing it has helped me, then this book has served its purpose.
