The horror of taking your boat onto the beaches where the fire power of the enemy caused so many deaths and wounded so many comrades.
Sea stories about sailor's antics, the interplay between officers and enlisted men. The stories that can now be told about some of the Japanese leaders as some of our own great, and not so great leaders.
About the Author
Milton Rhea, born and raised in Los Angeles- attended local schools, entered the navy at eighteen, married Ruby at 23, 56 years ago. Father of two sons, Randy and Darrell. Two grandsons, Randy and Casey. Twenty-two years in theAutomotive Interior business and a Real Estate Broker for twenty years in Fullerton, califrnia. Retired to Palm Desert, California. A barbershop quartet singer for forty-six years. With the exception of the loss of my son Randy, a green beret in Viet Nam, it has been a wonderful life to date, and I'm still going strong.
