About the Book

This book is an interesting collection of short stories, all based in Ireland and running the gamut from politics to horseracing to murder to romance to humor and much more. The title story is about an heroic Irish patriot whose love for his country is shown in his classroom and in everything he does.

You will laugh aloud at the antics of Claude and Deirdre, two strange star crossed lovers, in three stories that follow their on and off romance.

You'll be there at the finish line at the running of the Cheltenham Gold Cup as an Irish horse who was seen to have little potential stuns the horseracing world.

You'll read of a voluntary death bed confession from a man who murdered a gangster thirty odd years previously. These and much more will keep you entertained and well worth the price of admission.
