About the Book

Intimate Travels, by award-winning, widely- published writer Ruth Nathan Anderson, is a memoir of sex adventures based on non-fiction. It presents an aspect of travel that is purely one-dimensional. How, where and with whom did it result in an amorous confectionary that the author will always remember? From Paris, France to Milan, Italy, to the Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and six US states, this tell-all romp may tell you more about sexuality than you may ever have considered. Yet it is entirely free of vulgarity. It is a compelling, eminently readable, one-sitting treat.

About the Author

In April 2004 the Panama City News Herald turned its Spotlight feature on Ruth Nathan Anderson, suggesting "her honors are too numerous to mention here."

The award-winning journalist has had her newspaper and magazine stories published in major publications throughout this country and abroad. After an early stint on the Washington Post, she was on the staffs of North American Newspaper Alliance (where Ernest Hemmingway got his first byline), Independent News Alliance, United Feature Syndicate. Her articles on past US presidents are in the archives of five presidential libraries.

In between her work for news syndicates, she was featured editor of "Crusade for Freedom", the parent arm of Radio Free Europe. Her pieces about life behind the iron curtain were published throughout the world.

When Princess Diana visited Chicago in the late 90's for a 3-day fundraising mission for scientific research, Anderson was one of a very select group of newspeople assigned to accompany her.

Multi-talented and versatile, her award-winning poetry is repsented in such hard-cover anthologies as Theatre of the Mind and Best Poets and Poems of 2004.

In her tandem career as a pop recording artist for American Sound Records, she has released CD's, the most recent of which, Love Songs for Lovers, was critically lauded and is sold in national music retail outlets.

She relocated from Chicago to Panama City, Florida in 2000. Her trademarked phrase, "Growing Younger Disgracefully," was the title of a column she wrote for the Emerald Coast Insider.
