About the Book

About the Book

Bridle Thine Anger is a unique book, blending ancient and modern scriptural theology, counselling theory, the author’s personal experience and observations gained while working with counselling clients. It explores anger and other forms of individual and family dysfunction and their terrible consequences.

The Author extracts case material from the scriptures, presenting many well known and some more obscure scriptural characters or families as examples of dysfunction and inappropriate or functional and appropriate family behaviour. Familiar characters will be seen in a new light as the author reflects on their behaviour using his knowledge of counselling and psychotherapy.

This book examines ways of overcoming dysfunctional families and obtaining healing from the pain such individuals or families cause through Jesus Christ, using Spiritual Problem Solving Techniques, as contained in the scriptures.

During the course of Bridle Thine Anger the author shares a lifetimes worth of professional experience, academic study, scripture study, personal experience and observations, packaging it in a unique and inspiring way for the reader.
