About the Author
I was born in the small town of Al-Mafraq, Jordan in 1938. With only a limited elementary education from the Rosary Sisters School in Al-Mafraq, I was able through guidance from God, and the man I loved, rise above all my difficulties to establish myself as a successful educator and business woman. In the end of my struggles and with much personal sacrifice I was able to make something out of myself, and my children.
I studied as a beautician at a young age in London, a profession that I have been successful at throughout my life. I then obtained secretarial skills which furthered my advancement enabling me to work with the Libyan Embassy in the U.K and later on with the Libyan Foreign Ministry. This has given me the unbelievable opportunity to meet and communicate with various world figures. Yet I didnÕt stop there I obtained a teaching associate degree in Libya allowing me to pursue my life dream of providing children with a safe and superior education. I am the founder of Al-Aqsa Schools in Tripoli, Libya.
I have written my autobiography to express my feelings and emotions. I did not give it a Shakespearean type of language so that it can be very easy to read and understood by everyone, regardless of the readerÕs level of education.
God willing my personal experience will help a lot of people who have lost hope in getting out of the hardships of life especially those who have disabilities and those who are handicapped. My wish is to inspire those people to believe in themselves and with the guidance of God there can be a world of opportunity out there for everybody.
I have published my second book in Jordan, ÒPunishment and Reward from the LordÓ. Currently, I live in America and in the process of writing my third book.
