About the Book
Cara O'Malley is days away from beginning life after college. She has scraped and struggled to overcome her haunting past, and finally she feels a cloud of hope rising around her. While she is a natural cynic and practical recluse she finds herself flirting with the idea of happiness. She can sense the end of so many tangled relationships and the beginning of her future and her freedom.
Without warning her short lived optimism is stripped away by an unexpected positive pregnancy test. Her best laid plans have erupted into a spinning disaster that she thinks she must face alone.
When all seems lost a stranger's hand reaches out to pull her from the wreckage, lifting her to a place she has never been. It is the place where true love exists in its purest form and where devotion and passion grow like wild flowers.
The question is, while Cara believes she is ready to love, is she ready to be loved? And more important, will she live long enough to find out?
About the Author
Danielle Labrecque was born and raised in North Smithfield Rhode Island. She now resides in Tampa Florida, relocating with her company in 2006. With deep family ties and great friendships she visits New England often. While this book is fiction, she has drawn many correlations between her life and the story of the main character. The book is inspired by her own struggles with loss and grief. In Miracles and Mistakes Danielle clearly highlights the natural reaction and dangerous repercussions associated with any attempt to silence the past. This is her first published novel with many more to follow.
