About the Book

Elizabeth Winston's first book is a powerful drama based on true events which occurred in East Africa and London, UK. The book focuses on the lives of three women, Jane, Hannah and Lisa. It primarily concentrates on the extraordinary story of Lisa's journey from childhood, through her teens to adulthood. On the way men take advantage, betray and abuse her. She experiences the emotions of happiness, fear and anger and reaches the depths of despair. It is only Lisa's faith and strength of character that allows her to overcome adversity and look forward optimistically to the future.

About the Author

Elizabeth Winston was born in Uganda in 1967. Luck Fate and Circumstance is her first book. She was brought up in a village and went to the local school where her mother was a teacher, before attending boarding school. She moved to England in 1998 and currently works as a support worker.
