Little does Rick Brentwood realise that the girl he meets who is apparently hoping to attend the same conference as himslef, will provide a forerunner to a war of intrigue, acted out on those Islands of apparent innocence!

Maybe one could consider matters to be bizarre enough when he is forced into being tested for radio-activity, but then, who exactly is this person who is posing as an art student and what exactly is her involvement with the American Vulcanologists who suddenly appear, or even the girl's connection with a mysterious character who goes under the name of Guido?

But yet other questions were to pound upon Rick's mind. For example, what was so very special about the keys that had been passed to him and what made everyone else so keen to get their hands upon them?

Hi there again,
We were on holiday last winter in the Canary Islands when some friends of ours who were also there at the time called to see us. Upon taking a walk along the newly constructed promenade, my friend remarked on a recently opened hotel along that stretch, and looking back at it, especially with the mist that was shrouding the other nearby Island, I suddenly said --- how about a good murder happening there ---? The other three looked at me horrified for a moment until they realised the creative mind was at work again!

Hope you enjoy this latest figment of my imagination!
My thanks again to Laurence my grandson, who now not only has the computer to tap into precision but the digital camera as well, and also to Jim my husband who once again was inspired, after tedious hours of proof reading, to set his own thought on the story line to music!
