About the Author

Alan Hale is a native English speaker from Houston, Texas, United States of America. As a bilingual consultant in the energy industry for over 25 years, he has worked with people of more than 70 different nationalities in 28 countries on six continents, including several years in Latin America - in Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, and Argentina. He began studying Spanish at the age of 13 and received his BA in English from Sam Houston State University in 1996.

Alan Hale es un hablante nativo de inglés de Houston, Texas, Estados Unidos de América. Como consultor bilingüe en la industria de la energía por más de 25 años, él ha trabajado con gente de más de 70 nacionalidades distintas en 28 países en seis continentes, incluyendo varios años en Latinoamérica – en México, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile y Argentina. Empezó estudiar el español a los 13 años y recibió su licenciatura en inglés de Sam Houston State University en 1996.
