About the Book
"What Happened to Eden" is a contemporary account of what experiencing spiritual warefare is like. Emphasized is how Satan used a little recognized temptation, Inordinate Affection col3:5KJV, to attack a local church congregation. The Bible teaches us that the only weapon we have to use in spiritual warfare is the sword of the Spirit, i.e. the word of God.
Thus, the word of God that we don't know can become Satan's greatest weapon. Biblical definition of this temptation, and its success, is illustrated with examples of two priests and a great king of the old testament, and a case study of inordinate affection in a 21st century church, my church!
Not recognizing the temptation, what it looked like, we became easy prey for the Blue Sky Baptist Church. The temptation had been taken by our leaders, and by permission, by the laity. Wrapped in religious purpose, it was a caramel coated apple full of promise. Having bitten, we followed a destructive path, all the while ignorant of what was happening until it was too late. Only God's intervention provided a way out. After losing our Eden, only God could help us. And He did.
He proved His warnings were for good, even when we didn't think so. We'd experienced spiritual warfare and learned that living "by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" was not an option but an absolute necessity.
