About the Book
A simple to follow set of recipes for dairy, wheat and gluten free cooking.
The recipes are mostly ordinary, everyday meals – although they can be used for special occasions as well.
There are recipes for starters, soups, main courses, savouries, desserts, preserves, bread, cakes and biscuits.
There is a section containing information on flours, oils and dairy free products and a section on where to obtain some of these ingredients. Plus a useful reference section containing links to websites and other reference material.
About the Author
Linda Mercer first noticed she had digestion problems in 2003. She consulted a dietician who diagnosed intolerance and allergy to various foods, including dairy, wheat and gluten. After an initial shock, she realised that she had to approach her cooking and eating in a whole new way.
Linda experimented with various dishes and ingredients and decided to write down the recipes she adapted and invented. The result is her first book “Free & Easy”.
Linda Mercer is married and lives in Essex with her family and cat Lily.
They have a greenhouse and two allotments and grow their own herbs, fruit and many different varieties of vegetables throughout the year.
