Tina Chown is a talented teen rider, touted as a future Olympian among show jumpers. Unfortunately, when endearing Tina suffers a devastating fall at the spring classic, she triggers a domino effect of consequences within her equestrian circle. Piers Fitzgerald, world-renowned equine photographer, follows Tina to the hospital, where he meets Tina’s well-respected trainer, Millie Rubiksen, a shrewd entrepreneur who works both sides of the Atlantic. The three are drawn into a web of unlikely romance and business deals. After Piers is unexpectedly found dead, leaving a legacy of riches and a mysterious note, brainy fashion model, rider, and extreme diver, Rachel Perera, and her boyfriend, Mitch Lancelot, a lawyer, become amateur detectives to determine if Piers’ death is or is not foul play.
