About the Book

The eternal purpose and will of God is that we, as His children, work in His business with His ability vs. our ability. He desires to lead us into the supernatural with His anointing (divine ability) working in our lives as believers – These signs shall follow them that believe (Mark 16:17, 18).

The greatest reason for God's creation of man was that He might obtain sons. He desired to reproduce His image in a creature and have a channel through which He could flow His supernatural power, to accomplish His work on earth. He desires that His sons become, "Partakers of His divine nature" – His supernatural nature.

If we want to move deeper into the power of the supernatural it cannot be church and religion as usual. It cannot be routine formatted religious behavior. There must be a fading of the outer man (a death at the cross) and a shining forth of the radiance of God's beauty and supernatural power through the inner man.

Conversion can be viewed as a straight line with four sequential steps which can happen in one day:

But spiritual growth must be viewed as a circle, a lifetime process of repeated cycles of continuous change and growth. A part of this process is living near the cross, daily dying to self, so that more of Christ can live in us: "He must increase, but I must decrease". As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are called to a life of constant renewal, revival, change and growth as we assume more of the divine nature of our supernatural God. It is God's desire and will for us as sons of God to partner with Him in the supernatural. Anything less will not be effective in bringing deliverance, healing and salvation to our desperately lost world.

About the Author

James Twentier worked in the Prison Ministry, Nursing Home Ministry and Youth Ministry during his high school and college years. He and his wife, Marsha have worked 40 years at Life Tabernacle, Houston, TX in a number of Outreach Ministries: Sunday School Bus Ministry (10 years), Home Bible Study Ministry (25 years), Singles Ministry, Visitor Follow-up Ministry, Discipleship/Home Fellowship Ministry, Compassion Ministry, and Deaf Ministry.

His ministry has included teaching and preaching in many churches in the United States and in Bible Schools in other countries. His primary ministry focus is revival for the church which is designed to encourage and equip the born-again believer in moving to a more effective and disciplined level of personal evangelism, discipleship and growth.
