About the Book

Drobinka: A Change in heart is a perfect story to illustrate in a child-friendly fashion how a shy and disregarded person can become happy and caring without changing his/her own appearance, let alone the whole world.

Far from a happy-clappy "Feel good!" message, it acknowledges the pain and encourages down-to-earth solutions.

The questions and small tasks following the story help the young reader to translate the message into his/her own life. In this way the book becomes a practical workbook for school, home or children groups.

This book is illustrated by Slawomir Stawarczyk.

About the Author

Pawel was born and raised in Poland. As a child he loved listening to the stories his mother and grandmother told. He had many different animals as pets, and loved spending summers with his brothers at their grandmother's house in the countryside.

Now living in Austria, he has been working with children and young people since he was 19. He loves telling stories to children.
