Craig Fallon famous rugby player and ex lieutenant colonel in the SAS loses his parents in a tragic accident. He meets Sir Marcus Black a physicist who is in charge of Harwell Atomic Energy Establishment. He, together with Craig, and some of his ex army colleges plans a gold bullion robbery. Sir Marcus causes a fictitious nuclear alert. The gold is held within the area which is evacuated, and they succeed in stealing it. They melt the gold, make it into a keel for a boat, and sail to Columbia.

They can never return to England, but Craig’s best friend Mike does, without telling any of the group. He is involved in a drug deal, with a notorious gangster called Gregorian. Mike is double crossed by Gregorian and murdered. Craig decides to avenge Mike’s death. He returns to England, disguises himself and kidnaps Gregorian’s daughter from her school in Scotland. He wants the money that Mike was cheated out of, and manages through some devious and ingenious methods to get it back. He returns Gregorian’s daughter unarmed. He goes to London and watches Gregorian’s offices. After some exciting advents he finds a way to get at Gregorian. He is lucky to meet a lovely girl called Emma, while he his staying in a small hotel in East London. After his mission is accomplished, he proposes to Emma and returns to Colombia with her, and her mother. The lucky charm the tribesmen gave him in Columbia brought him back safely.



About the Author

Ray Hewlett was educated at Tonbridge School in Kent. He was an officer in the army. He has always been keen on sport. He won the army middleweight boxing title and played rugby for R.A.S.C. He left the army, married his first wife Anne, and had two children Sally and Guy. His rugby carried on at Sidcup. He played for Kent and scored many tryÕs in his career being SidcupÕs second highest try scorer. He left Sidcup, and came to live in Stratford Upon Avon. He was Midland Sales Manager for GKN. He has ridden motor-cycles ever since he was sixteen. He has a Yamaha Thunderace now, but freely admits that he is now fare weather biker. His first marriage broke up, and he married his second wife Annette. He brought up two further children, Lisa and Leigh. He now lives in Birmingham, but still supports West Ham. He was once very keen on sailing, and used to keep a yacht down in Dartmouth, and was a member The Royal Dart Yacht Club. He does not own a yacht now, but still retains his love of sailing, and if the opportunity to own another yacht became a reality he would certainly take it up again. He was at school with Colin Cowdrey and played cricket with him. He now follows Warwickshire, and goes to Edgbaston whenever he can. He likes gardening, reading books, as well as writing them. He has two dogs, and a cat.
