About the Book
This book gives an interesting view and opinion of various subject matters compiled in essay format, from the thoughts of a senior citizen who had taken many paths of her own. It looks at such subjects as counting blessings, personal awareness of ones self and ones surroundings. It looks at how we should take better control of our personal health and financial affairs. There are views also on caring for children, appreciating life as it is rather than constantly trying to alter our body, environment, and other people. It points out how our journey in life can carry us down a path we no longer wish to be on and how easy it is to change paths.
About the Author
I have always been a spiritual person, even when I was young and sewing my oats per se. I have, however, been blessed with the privilege to live deep in the forest, out of the main stream of society for the past thirteen years. This has brought me very close to nature and given me the opportunity to reflect on life and what is, in my opinion, important, and to sort out and prioritize issues looking at them in pure reality.
I am no different than any other person, having taken the wrong path from time to time. But it is comforting to be at peace with myself and my world in the waning years of my life.
