A collection of short stories of the trials and tribulations of James Rip Blackwell growing up in Anderson, a mythical city consisting primarily of criminals located in the South suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. James reluctantly joined the United States Air Force and becomes a Security Policeman, although he hated the police with a passion. After being discharged from the Air Force James goes to work at the Second Chicago Corportaion subsidiary "The Second National Bank of Chicago" where he is employed as a Security Officer. A messenger comes to the bank, advises James that the Crook County Forest Preserve Department of Law Enforcement is offering an examination. James takes the test, scores sixth on the list and becomes a Forest Preserve Ranger. After only two months James becomes an investigator with the Crook County Forest Preserve District Department of Law Enforcment. Fifteen years later James quits his job because he was sick of the politics, disturbed and searching for contentment. James explores political corruption and and cases that he has investigated with a humorous twist and gets into the head of the deranged criminal mind and their insane environment. James ultimately discovers that what he was searching for in life he had all alone the Flora & Fauna. The beauty that the simple things in life, that we take for granted, had to offer.


About the Author

Elwin Denard Trammell I. resides with his family in Robbins, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Elwin was an investigator/Sergeant with the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, Illinois Department of Law Enforcement for fifteen years and as invested everything from "Dog off leash" to Homicide.
