About the Book

In a city gripped with violence, another shot is fired in the still of the night, and another life is lost to the darkness.

But talking about what you know isn't allowed in this neighbourhood, and no one has come forward with any information. They can't…or won't.

Now, broken and confused, four students will try and find out who murdered their best friend. For his sake, and for theirs.

Amidst all the pain, danger, and deception, can they discover the truth without losing themselves along the way?

About the Author

Arsalan Shirazi was born on April 9th, 1986 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. A Sense of Loss is his debut novel which he began writing when he was 19 and had published shortly after his 20th birthday.

He is currently studying at the University of Toronto's St. George Campus and lives in Pickering, Ontario.
