If you are going to get your family around the dinner table on a regular basis you need a plan! Dinner Plans 2007 provides you with a daily dinner menu, a corresponding recipe and weekly grocery lists at your fingertips! This is not a typical cookbook…this is a planner. The menus and recipes are simple with only a few steps of preparation. This isn’t about spending time in the kitchen; it’s about spending time at the dinner table with your family.
Enjoy a variety of dishes that are delicious and simple to prepare including special holiday menus that will work for entertaining your extended family as well.
Using the planner is simple:
1. Review the week and rearrange, add or delete menus as needed.
2. Tear the grocery list out of the book and take it to the store
with you!
3. Use the recipe provided each day for the main entree
and reference "Side Dish Savvy"
for the preparation of the side
dishes on the menu.
4. Sit down to a delicious dinner with your
family and enjoy the conversation!
5. Don't think about the clean
upÉthat's easy too!
The menus will cycle so you can use up some items in your cupboards. Bulk shopping is certainly feasible with a number of items. Readers are encouraged to modify menus and recipes using their own creative flare.
About the Author
I am a Registered Dietitian. I have been working full time in the Healthcare field for more than 20 years. I am also a wife and mother of two boys. After the birth of my second son in 2002 I decided to put together a collection of recipes, menus and grocery lists to help me bring my family to the dinner table nearly every night. This "planning" became the means by which I could successfully gather my family around the table without too much effort. I needed something quick and user friendly. The more I worked on Dinner Plans the more I felt compelled to share it with others who are as busy as I am.
