About the Book

Arron Fergusons grown up on a farm that her parents homesteaded. She hates the hard work involved and circumstances force her to leave home and venture to the city. She meets an everlasting friend, Carie Williamson but learns that city life and love isn't as easy as she had hoped. But it is a lesson of life that Arron values as instrumental in making her learn to appreciate all that her parents have. Her family becomes her refuge and her salvation. Arron returns to the homestead and finds success both in love and with hard work from the homestead. There is sibling rivalry between Arron and her only sister, Nettie that almost destroys them both. Arron's love interest, Cliffton Williamson has life struggles of his own that he must overcome. Cliffton's wife, Sunan is more than he know's what to do with.

About the Author

Janice Lee Moore was born in Virginia but raised in a small town in Northwest Florida. She has lived in various places, including, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. She presently resides in the same small town in Florida where she was raised she grew up. Janice has fallen in love several times; to the same man, her husband, Robert. Janice and Robert have been married over twenty five years and have a son, a daughter and one grandson. As a Correctional Officer for over ten years, Janice is debuting as an author/writer with her first novel, Once Upon A Homestead.
