About the Author

Edna Marie Bible grew up in an extended family during the late 1920s and 30s. Having graduated from high school in 1941, a whole generation of young people were catapulted into World War II. After working in an airplane plant during WWII, the author found herself beginning college at age 30. She finished with honors and taught in public school for 25 years before retiring back to the Texas Hill Country.
