About the Author
Les Padfield has worked in London for many years as a teacher of Physical Education, English and other subjects. Other strings to his bow include running a language school, a teaching agency, working as a scout for a Premiership football club, and writing and producing drama at a local Anglican church, where he is an occasional speaker. A trustee of The Coombe Trust, a charity which helps underprivileged children, he has also walked the Inca Trail in Peru for Action Aid, another organisation helping third world families. A very amateur piano and guitar player, his ambition is to be taken seriously on the mouth-organ before completely losing his teeth
