Kids sometimes have pet rocks, but it's time to hear things from the rock's perspective. Sammy Sandstone tells the story of a rock named Sammy. What started as a chance encounter on the playground changed the life of this rock. A little girl named Emily brought Sammy a life and friendship that changed his perspective on the world in general. In the end, friendship triumphs over all.

About the Author

Jeana Bollinger currently resides in Flower Mound, Texas. Jeana's book (Sammy Sandstone) was originally started from a Public Speaking class assignment during her senior year at Lewisville High School in 1992. Fourteen years later, after digging through a box of keepsakes, she rediscovered that old class assignment and decided to pursue getting it published as a children's book. In September 2006, Sammy Sandstone was released by Trafford Publishing.
