About the Book

Everyone's in favour of progress - it's just change they don't like!

We all know that change is difficult and can be very painful. But there is no escaping it; at some time in the near future your organisation will face the daunting task of implementing or upgrading your ERP systems. When this time comes it is vitally important that everyone understands the process and its implications.

This book is an absolute must-read for anyone involved in trying to change a business. It takes you through the process of implementing ERP in easy stages and explains every step with examples from situations we can all relate to - getting the builders in!

It will show you how planning will divert disasters, how to get everyone on board with the project and how identifying the impacts of the change will help you to get the outcome you need.

Along the way, you will read the story of two families who are grappling with building works in a variety of ways. They - and you - learn from their all-too-familiar experiences and disasters as they battle their way through the minefield of changing their homes.

In essence, with ERP, you are creating a castle - a fortification against your opponents (your competition) and you are building a home - a place of security, familiarity and constant change providing all who live within its walls an environment that encourages support, challenges without fear and demands growth.

This book is written by two well-respected executives - a Senior Vice President of a multi-national company and a Management Consultant. They have learned the hard way about change - both at home and in business - and want this book to save you time, money and heartache!
