About the Book
This book is an autobiography written by the oldest of five boys living together some of the time but having their family separated most often. The five brothers had different experiences apart and when they lived together in a particular place they each perceived their circumstances differently. The author attended eight elementary schools and three high schools. He survived two bad car accidents and an air plane crash. Life was difficult so he and his four brothers each learned to cope in their own way with whatever life dealt them. Existence meant dealing with the detours that were constant interruptions in his planned journey through life. The bad times weren't going to last because there were constant dreams of always having better times soon. His story ends when at the age of 21 he gave himself a first name he never had, and he felt it would now make him just a bit special like everyone else.
