About the Book

The history of the world from 2010 to 2161, for thinking people who are interested in the future, for themselves, the children, and the children's children. Written not by a philosopher nor a historian, but by an ordinary man.

Only a person living in 2161 can review the history of today's future. A history which not only reveals the irresponsibility of the human race, it's violence, it's pollution, it's advancements for survival, but also the ability of humankind to revive it's fortunes and with the power of discoveries of vision, knowledge, education, tenacity and courage overcome the ineptitude and sheer carelessness adopted in the 21st century.

The book covers the difficult and necessary but unfortunate period later to be known as 'THE AGE OF IRRESPONSIBILITY,' then continues on to the alterations in humankind. It takes the reader further into the 22nd century, giving them an insight into the more important historical events which take place, following the changes in communication and transport, and the results of the planet's pollution, culminating in the revolutionary alterations of the weather patterns. The reader is also given the history of humankind's brave foresight in coping with religion, and the inevitable difficulties in the changing complications of sex in the new modern world.

About the Author

Born at the end of the war in the North East of England, Alan left the region to join as an Officer in the Merchant Navy. In this role, and in future roles he was fortunate to mingle with peoples of many different cultures. A keen sportsman all his life he now leads a fit and active life in the countryside. Is also Chairman and Founding Member of 'Ugly R Us.'
