About the Book

Young adults have trouble finding their careers, switching from one job to the next, partly because they have not been permitted and supported in their true dream and professional passion. When I began to take my education on a more personal level and when I began to see my real dream-job; this is when I finally started to live in victory. My dream career is professional hockey. At the same time, I believe Christian athletes need to find some new ways to give of themselves and express themselves. My book is one example. It encourages energetic, artistic, athletic, Christians to transform their love and ability into a viable product. It is a variety of writing that provides advice and help for Christian athletes through multiple angles, rather than a single structure. Through a variety of insights (by notes, essays and research), I show how Christian athletes should realize their own real love, choice and calling in life, and be true in what God has given them. About the Author

Malcolm Rae has a diploma in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Arts with a Liberal Studies Major from Malaspina University College. He has played hockey in Winnipeg, for the Canadian Mennonite University. This season (2006/07), he was regrettably cut from the competitive hockey team at Trinity Western University. Rae maintains, however, that he still intends to play professionally. He wishes to encourage Christian athletes who may have experiences similar to his own, in faith and sport. (Update: in September 2010, Malcolm was invited to try out for a Single A professional hockey team. The team's name is the Indiana Blizzard).
