About the Book
Eddie is just another average bloke teetering on the threshold of manhood. Only problem is he's been on this threshold for 12 years now. Just another underachieving nobody who could have been somebody. Weeks shy of the dreaded 30 mark Eddie finds himself more disillusioned than ever having lost his one true source of inspiration, his girlfriend Grace.
However all is not lost as Eddie has big plans - including winning back the affections of Grace; although seeing these plans coming to fruition is proving more difficult than imagined. Now is the time to get his life back on track, but first he must escape the life of booze, bedsits, brotherhood and bacon sambos that engulfs him. Easier said than done...
"Witty, accurate portrayal of the travails of young men, misspent youth and lost love in modern times. Perfectly encapsulates the zeitgeist of contemporary Ireland."
-Ross Fitzgerald, Production Editor, New Century Publishing
