About the Book
Step into the dark world of aspiring horror genius Paul Gurrieri, in this his first collection of short fiction.
With his transmutable prose, and vivid descriptive narrative, Gurrieri brings us nineteen original works including a concise political treatise, and a novella, inspired by such great macabre masters as Hawthorne, Poe, Lovecraft, and King. Each of these tales takes on a life of its own as Gurrieri demonstrates his chameleon-like ability to adapt his prose to outfit each work with a unique life all its own.
Gurrieri manages to set his tales across time and space in a myriad of both mundane and provocative settings, including a New York city bus, a derelict spaceship, and one of the most nototious concentration camps of world war two. Take a glimpse into his world and see why Gurrieri is the future of Dark fiction.
