About the Book

'Toby Dickinson's New Dimensions' is a saga/fantasy designed to be the first book of five. The story occurs predominantly on another world in the same place as Earth, but three minutes ahead in time.

Toby Dickinson is a studious thirteen year old who secretly longs for excitement. His parents are killed and quite suddenly Toby finds all the adventure he can handle.

Queen Sparrania, the young ruler of a vast land, needs help. Someone from Earth might be able to solve her problems, but there's only an old man that understands what to do since David Dickinson died. Toby can't accept the loss of his parents and ultimately realizes he can change things. Frenzied evil also threatens in the grotesque shape of Jordip Phetmush and the quirleech.

With new friends helping and adversaries pursuing Toby becomes involved in a quest that includes several thrilling fights, some exciting chases, storms at sea, treks through jungles, cruises down rivers, beautiful sunsets, red herrings and a solution to everything.

About the Author

Nick S Dyer was at sea for the first seven years of his working life; he trained as a steam engineer on a salvage tug. After becoming a land lover he worked as a nightclub bouncer, a prison officer and made several short films for the BBC. Nick has lectured on a variety of subjects at Worcester Cathedral, Oxford University and at Buckingham Palace in the presence of Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal. HeÕs now retired and living in Worcestershire. NickÕs ambitions are to write because people actually enjoy reading his work and live for so many years he becomes a wrinkled, wizened, grumpy old reprobate. Some would say he is well on the way to achieving the latter of these desires.
